Anthony Oluwaseyi Olajumoke is an accomplished financial executive and community leader with over two decades of distinguished experience in the Nigerian banking sector.

Known for driving market expansion and regional growth, he combines strong corporate governance with a deep commitment to philanthropy and leadership development.

Early Life, Education, and Family Background

Born in Ibadan on November 26, 1975, Anthony is the youngest child of Pa Samuel Babatunde and Madam Mariam Abeke Olajumoke.

He completed his early education at Army Children School (Army Barracks, Mokola) and Celestial Church of Christ High School (Oke Ado, Ibadan), graduating in 1990. He was a strong committed member of Christ Apostolic Church Oke Anu Adamasingba , Ibadan and also a member of the Choir for almost 2 decades during his pre-teen to young adult age.

Driven by diverse academic interests, he became a pioneer student of the newly established Music Technology department at The Polytechnic of Ibadan in 1992.

The following year, he gained admission to Nigeria’s premier institution, the University of Ibadan, to study Linguistics and African Languages. He graduated in 2000 and began his professional journey as an assistant lecturer during his National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) deployment at the Federal University of Technology, Yola.

On November 1, 2003, Anthony married his lovely wife, Ibironke Yewande, following their courtship at the African Church Bethfruit, Lagos Island. Their marriage is blessed with three wonderful children: a daughter, Towoboreoluwa Mariam, and two sons, Oluwasemilore Emmanuel and Oluwasetemipe Elijah.

Distinguished Banking Career

Anthony has built an extensive corporate track record characterized by strategic branch management, retail expansion, and corporate banking leadership:

Retail Regional Manager (Lagos Island 1), Union Bank: 

Appointed in December 2019 to oversee high-value retail banking portfolios across the Lagos Island business district. 

Before then, he was also the

Retail Regional Manager (Kwara & Osun States), Union Bank: Deployed in December 2017 to drive retail penetration across Kwara and parts of Osun State.

Corporate & Business Development Leader, Union Bank: Served as the Business Development Manager (BDM) for the Ketu Alapere branch (joined 2013) and subsequently launched corporate banking operations for the Mainland region as the pioneer BDM at the Ota branch.

Branch & Cluster Management, Bank PHB (Keystone Bank): Spent five years with the institution, serving as the pioneer Branch Manager for the Abule Egba branch and later advancing to Retail Cluster Manager for the Akowonjo branch.

Relationship Manager (Oil & Gas), Intercontinental Bank Plc: Managed critical commercial portfolios within the energy sector.

Early Career: Began his banking journey at the entry-level with First Atlantic Bank in 2003 (which later transitioned to First Inland Bank Plc) following an initial eight-month tenure as a marketing executive at KPS Nigeria Ltd.
